ADHD is a lot of swings and roundabouts, but generally, it means having a lot of energy and a bubbly, fun-loving personality (for the most part). As a result, I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies - although I don’t necessarily have time to do them all - but it does keep my life interesting.

Role: Podcast Host & Script Writer
Pronouns: she/her
Being from the United States, I found that joining ADHD Babes, a UK-based group, revealed that across various countries, we had similar experiences with ADHD. What began as a personal exploration of my ADHD evolved into my active participation with ADHD Babes. I transitioned from attending support group meetings to hosting and scripting podcast episodes. After reflecting on my experiences and those of others, I directed my Master's research toward the intersections of Black women, ADHD, and education, aiming to broaden the understanding of Black excellence.
What ADHD means to me: Understanding my ADHD has allowed me to show myself grace. Rather than dwelling on vague challenges, I have become aware of helpful and difficult patterns and learned how to navigate them. While hardships don't disappear, accepting that life is a zigzag journey with various seasons becomes easier.

What I do for ADHD Babes: Lead Host & Scriptwriter
What does my ADHD mean to me:My ADHD isn’t a single story—it’s a constantly unfolding map of who I’ve always been beneath the noise. As a late-diagnosed woman, I’m still piecing together the brilliance and the blind spots, unlearning who I was told to be and learning, at last, in the way I was always meant to.
Fun Fact: I’ve had a podcast featured on Apple’s Editor’s Choice in 2016, I am a screenwriter who wants to write and show run my own TV show - and create space for other underrepresented creatives to shine! Oh and finally (in ADHD fashion) I am training to become a psychotherapist.
